I'm looking for volunteers for the Grand Meadow school's mass screening for Hearing and Vision.
The screening is being done later than normal. We've been waiting for the new building to open up so that the Library would be able to accommodate the screening process.
This will be held on Tuesday December 13th from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM (approximate end time). In prior years we've been getting done around 1:00 PM (or slightly after).
Volunteers should plan to arrive between 8:00 and 8:15. Check in at the office that you enter near.
The screenings will take place in the library.
The grades that will be screened are: 1st, 2nd (Hearing Only), 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 10th. All others screened will be either new students or requests from teachers, parents or students.
We will try to accommodate the schedule so that you may be able to have lunch with one of your children.

Mini-Larks:
Calling all Mini-Larks!!! It is time to dance and cheer again! Our much anticipated dance night in Grand Meadow is Tuesday December 20th this year. The Austin Packer Dance Team will be here again to perform, sign autographs, and the girls will get to have a pizza party with them after the performances. We are SO EXCITED!! Practices begin December 8th! Bright PINK registration forms were sent home from school a couple weeks ago. They are due 12/5 so you still have plenty of time to get them turned in but the sooner the better so Jamie & Miss Laura can get routines and cheers planned. Girls can turn their registration forms + $20 in at the Elementary Office or to their classroom teacher. Can't wait to see you all in December!!
