Year End Grading

Good morning Parents of K-11 Students,

Student grades are being finalized the next few days. If students see an “F” or an “N” for their 4th quarter grade, this means that they did not turn in work or connect with the teacher during the distance learning time. Middle School/High School students who did not turn in work or connect with teachers during distance learning will receive a “U” which stands for unsatisfactory as their semester grade. The student will still receive credit for the class, however on their transcript it will show a “U” with the comment “Unsatisfactory/No work turned in during COVID-19”.

Elementary students who did not turn in work or connect with teachers during distance learning will receive a “U” which stands for unsatisfactory as their 4th quarter grade with the comment “Unsatisfactory/No work turned in during COVID-19”.

Again, the students will still receive credit for the class and will not affect their moving to a new/next grade level or affect graduation requirements. If your child would like to have a grade on their transcript(Grades 9-12), they have the option to do credit recovery this summer for that class and receive a grade.

If you have any questions, please let me know,

Mr. Rosaaen
