Welcome to 6th Grade! My name is Faith Gehling, and I will be teaching 6th grade math and science! In addition, I am also the varsity cheerleading coach and one of the National Honor Society co-advisors.
I am a proud Grand Meadow grad! After graduating from high school in 2018, I attended RCTC for one year to earn my associates degree, and then transferred to Winona State University-Rochester. I graduated with my bachelors degree in elementary education in May 2021. After graduation, I started my teaching career as a long-term substitute teacher both at Winona Middle School (5th Grade) and Byron Primary School (1st Grade). This past year, I also had the opportunity to serve as a long-term substitute teacher, as well as a rotating teacher sub, at Zumbrota-Mazeppa Public Schools. These roles proved to be wonderful learning experiences for me, and I am so excited to continue my teaching journey back at Grand Meadow!
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. In addition to being the youngest of five, I'm also an aunt to six nephews and 2 nieces. You can also find me spending a lot of time with my adorable puppy, Lacey, who will be six months old in September.
