My name is Mr. Garten and I am the MS/HS Agricultural/Industrial Tech Instructor for the Grand Meadow school district. I also serve as the advisor for the Grand Meadow FFA chapter.

I am originally from Owatonna, MN where I graduated from Owatonna Senior High School in 2019. I then went on to attend South Dakota State University to pursue an Agricultural Education degree. While at SDState I was involved in the marching band(Where I marched in the 2022 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade), the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, and the Interfraternity Council. I look forward to bring my own experiences to the next generation of agriculturalists and grow with them during my years at Grand Meadow.
