Health Update: 11-13-2023

~A NOTE FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE~

11-13-2023

As most expect, with the start of every school year, having everyone back in the building, comes the spreading of many illnesses.

This is just a reminder that as we are seeing our first spike in absent students today (Monday, 11/13/23), that we ask you to please keep your kiddos home from school when they are ill.

Many students are out today, and some have been sent home today with anything from fever, headache, cold symptoms, and upset stomach.  There have been cases of COVID reported (Staff and Students) in the last 3 days.

If you would like some COVID test sent home or would like to pick some up from the school you’re welcome to do so.

If you have questions about COVID tests and or what to do if someone in your home tests positive, please don’t hesitate to call.  An additional attachment is a COVID parent fact sheet, that may help you navigate a positive case in your home also.

The link below is the list of tests that have extended expiration dates:

Thank you for your time and attention,
