My name is McKenna Wheeler & I'm one of the special education teachers at Grand Meadow Elementary! I attended Minnesota State University - Mankato and graduated with my Bachelors of Science and received my Academic and Behavioral Strategist (ABS) license in 2025. In my free time, I enjoy reading mysteries, baking, and taking my dog Lilly for long walks! I'm so excited to dive into an awesome school year by supporting our learners with exceptionalities at GM & helping them grow!

My Classroom:
In my classroom we participate in "The Grand Meadow Way" or L.A.R.K (Leadership, Accountability, Respect, Kindness). Students can successfully accomplish this by: keeping their bodies to themselves, using walking feet, trying their best, using kind words, and listening & following directions.
My Schedule:
As a special education teacher, my schedule is determined by the services documented and presented in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). My schedule can differ day to day based off student needs.
