Summer weight room and athletic practices:
The district will be opening the weight room and the gymnasium to students beginning on June 15. Due to Covid-19, there are restrictions that must be followed. See the GM Covid-19 attachment for further details. There will be a $10 fee for anyone using the weight room during the summer. The summer registration form is attached. Summer weight training for the girls will not begin until June 22nd.
Athletic Physicals:
The district is changing the format for students to receive athletic physicals for the 2020-21 school year. Families should contact Dr. Dillon Denisen and set up an appointment anytime throughout the summer. This will help reduce the number of people in Dr. Denisen’s office at any one time. Parents should complete their portion of the physical prior to their son/daughter receiving the physical. Physicals given at Dr. Denisen’s office will be free of charge and will be paid through the district’s athletic advertising account. The physical form is attached.
Concussion Testing and Fall Sports Meeting:
Concussion testing and the fall sports meeting will both be on August 12th. At this time we are unsure how this will be administered but you can mark your calendars for that date.
