Freeborn-Mower County Electric notified the school that there will be two areas in Grand Meadow that will experience a power outage on Wednesday, November 11th from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 1:00 p.m. This may affect some of our remote learning students if computers and iPads are not fully charged the night before.
The two areas affected are the subdivision south of the school and east of fifth street, but fifth street will not lose power, and those on 2nd Street SE and 3rd Street SE, up to first Avenue SE.
