Distance Learning, Attendance, and Health Office Updates

Distance Learning after January 11, 2021

In an effort to keep our list of students who are continuing to distance learn, please let the office know if your child(ren) plans to continue distance learning after we return to in-person learning on January 11, 2021. Also indicate the date they plan to return. You may call the school at 507-857-1120. Grades 7-12 students/parents can email Trudy Swanson- tswanson@gm.k12.mn.us   PreK-6 can email Tonya Klapperick- tklapperick@gm.k12.mn.us. This helps our teachers plan and get supplies for students continuing distance learning.

Attendance

Please remember to contact the office at 507-857-1120 if your child is going to be absent for vacation, appointments, or illness. If your child is distance learning, the office should still be notified of the absence so we can inform teachers. We also understand the internet companies are working on cable/internet lines, if your area is being affected, please also let the office know or communicate with your child's teacher.

Health Office

Please remember to inform the health office if your child has COVID-19 symptoms, is taking a COVID-19 test,  tests positive for COVID-19, or has been in close contact with a positive COVID-19 case. You can contact the health office by calling the school at 507-857-1120 or emailing Kathi Himebaugh-khimebaugh@gm.k12.mn.us.

Thank-you for your patience and understanding as we return to school safely on January 11, 2021!
