Easter Break:

April 1st is a Teacher work day – no student day

April 2nd and April 5th are holidays – no student days

Classes resume on Tuesday, April 6th

Breakfast:

Starting on Monday, March 29th, students will be able to receive and eat their breakfast in the cafeteria and dome gym before school.  Students will no longer need to take their meals to classrooms and eat in the classrooms.  Being as some of the restrictions being adjusted, the school having the capacity to social distance and be unmasked while eating, we can take this small step back to a more traditional schedule.  Elementary students will also be able to run laps in the morning and will have stories read to them by paraprofessionals in the elementary dome as well.

After School bus routes:

The school added an extra bus route after school to meet the transportation guidelines earlier in the school year. At this time we are seeing that we can eliminate that route and have students go back to their regular after school routes and still be within the guidelines.  This change will take effect after the Easter break.   Students may be returning home after school a few minutes later than what they have been.  Student’s riding Mr. Smith’s bus after school will be put on one of the four regular routes.  Paraprofessional and teachers will make sure children are on the correct bus to get home.  Here is how things will break down based on bus stops.

  • Gail Queensland’s stop will now ride Doug Glynn’s bus
  • Andrea Bain’s stop will now ride on Doug Glynn’s bus
  • Veteran’s Memorial Park will now ride on Scott Hurley’s bus
  • Arvig will now ride on Scott Hurley’s bus
  • Tracy Benson’s stop will now ride on Lori Stier’s bus
  • 2nd street/2nd Ave stop will now ride Doug Glynn’s bus
