Greenhouse Groundbreaking: May 7

Grand Meadow Public Schools has been named a $15,000 grant recipient of the America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education program, sponsored by Bayer Fund. The district plans to use the grant to build an outdoor classroom and greenhouse, which will have a significant impact on the students and our community. 

Representatives from the school will attend the event. Local farmers who nominated the school for the grant will also be invited to attend. Community members are also invited to attend. Students can attend and start building the greenhouse as part of Service-Learning Day.
