Baseline Concussion Testing 

Baseline Concussion testing will be held on August 11 at 2:00 in the Legacy Gym.   Anyone that wants to be tested should arrive no later than 2:30.  Testing is only done once per year so even if a student will not be participating in any fall sports they should attend.  Students need to complete the survey below prior to the testing date.       THE SURVEY MUST BE COMPLETED BY THE ATHLETE AND NOT BY HIS/HER PARENTS.

Fall Sports Meeting 

The fall sports meeting will be held on August 11 at 6:00 pm in Legacy Gym.  This meeting is for any student in grades 7-12 that will be going out for football, volleyball or cross country.  The meeting is also for parents of all students.  There will be a brief group meeting in the gym and then each sport will break off for individual meetings.  All necessary eligibility forms will be handed out at this meeting along with team rules and expectations.  The entire meeting should last approximately 60 minutes. 

  

Fall Practice Schedules 

Volleyball practices for all players in grades 7-12 will begin on August 16.  Grades 9-12 will practice from 9:00 am – noon.  Grades 7-8 will practice from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.  All practices will be held in Legacy Gym. 

Cross country practice will begin on August 16.  Practices will rotate on a weekly basis between Southland, LeRoy and Grand Meadow.   Practice for the week of August 16 will be held at the city park in Adams and will begin at 3:30 pm.  The bus will leave Grand Meadow at 3:00. 

Football practice will begin on August 16 for players in grades 9-12.  Practices will run from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.  Football practices for players in grades 7-8 will begin on August 23 and will run from 3:30 – 5:30. 

  

Athletes in all sports must have a physical on record with the Activities Director that is less than 3 years old in order to be allowed to participate.
