I'm looking for volunteers for the Grand Meadow school's mass screening for Hearing and Vision. If you haven't had a background check through the school in the last 12 months and are able to volunteer please contact Leslie Hendrickson in the Business Office to find out how to apply for a background check, the cost is covered by the school.
This will be held on Tuesday October 31st from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM (approximate end time). In prior years we've been getting done around 1:00 PM (or slightly after).
Volunteers should plan to arrive between 8:00 and 8:15. Check in at the office that you enter. The screenings will take place in the library.
The grades that will be screened are: 1st, 2nd (Hearing Only), 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 10th
All others screened will be either new students or requests from teachers, parents or students.
We will try to accommodate the schedule so that you may be able to have lunch with one of your children.
