Updated COVID Protocols and Procedures
Updated COVID Protocols and Procedures

The Grand Meadow School Board approved changes to the COVID protocols and procedures to reflect current CDC and MN Department of Health recommendations for individuals who test positive for COVID.

Employees or students who test positive can return to school/work after 5 days if they test negative and are symptom free after day 5. The employee/student needs to wear a face covering until the 10th day.  Also, any time after the 5th day and prior to the 10th day, if a person tests negative, they can return to school/work earlier than the 10-day quarantine with a negative test and being symptom free.

Face covering requirements under the new guidelines are for indoors.  If a person/student is outdoors or on a bus they are not required to wear a face covering.  For example, if a student is an athlete, they are not required to wear a face covering while they are competing

If you have any specific question about the updated COVID protocols, please contact Kathi Himebaugh in the nurse’s office at Grand Meadow School.  507.857.1120 ext. 7715

These updated protocols and procedures will be in place until the end of the academic school year.
