Update on Bonding Projects

Update: Grand Meadow School District Bonding projects

The Grand Meadow School Board at a Special Meeting held on Monday, June 27th unanimously decided to pause the maintenance and expansion project the district has been working on for the past couple of years.

The main reasons for pausing the projects are based on the current economic conditions, rising debt load to community members based on increasing taxes, market volatility for materials and labor shortages in the trades industry.

The Grand Meadow School Board greatly appreciates the time and effort community members put into sharing thoughts, ideas, and giving feedback through the community survey.  The district will revisit the projects in one year with the hope that the economy, cost for services and materials stabilizes.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any of the School Board members or Superintendent Besel
