Jingle Bell Jog 2022

2022 Jingle Bell Jog

Thursday, December 22, 2022

This year, we are walking/jogging for one of our own!

Please read below about a beloved Grand Meadow School staff member.

***************************************************************

Karl Hoefs has worked at Grand Meadow Public Schools for over 25 years as a custodian. With a smile on his face, a “hop” in his step, and a willingness to help anyone, he does it all! In 2021, Karl Hoefs was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. With the love of his wife, Debra, his 3 kids Ryan, Bethany, and Riley, and his two granddaughters Morgan and Allie, Karl has been receiving treatments through Mayo Clinic ever since his diagnosis. We want to help out Karl and his family, just as he is always so willing to help others, which is why he is our recipient of the 2022 Jingle Bell Jog Fundraiser.

Our shirt sales will be ONLINE ONLY! There will be no order forms to fill out and turn in. We are going through Full Court Custom Apparel, the company we are with, for our school store. With the help of seniors, Heidi Weiss and Rebecca Hoffman, Full Court has created a truly one-of-a-kind, amazingly colorful design that perfectly describes Karl. (Picture of design shown below.) Each black shirt/sweatshirt purchased contributes $5.00 toward helping Karl and his family.

If you would rather send money directly to the school, rather than purchase a shirt, for Karl to receive 100% of it, you are more than welcome! Please put it in an envelope, labeled “For Karl” and send it to Trudy or Tonya, with checks written to Grand Meadow Schools.

Online orders are DUE ON WEDNESDAY, NOV. 30. No exceptions. We need to get the order in to guarantee that we have the shirts here in time for the Jingle Bell Jog on Dec. 22nd.

Please contact Mrs. Jodi Munson or Mrs. Alex Wilson if you have any questions.

Thank you for your support!
