We’re pleased to bring back The Grand Meadow Spelling Bee this year on Friday, January 13 at 1:30 p.m. in the school cafetorium. Parents and family members are invited to come support the spellers.  

Students in grades 5-8 who scored the highest from the pre-test will compete in the Bee. The top two spellers will advance to the regional Bee, held in Rochester, in February.  

The Spelling Bee has not been held at Grand Meadow since 2019 due to the pandemic. Thank you to Mrs. Peggy Rude, who served as the Spelling Bee coordinator for many years. Sara Lee has taken on the coordination of the Bee as a parent volunteer.
