Service Learning Day-May 4

Service Learning Day!

In a previous E-News, it was shared what the 7th - 12th graders will be doing on Service Learning day.  In this addition, we will be adding what the K- 4th grade students will be doing as well in this E-News update.  Mentoring and guiding students to understand the act of volunteering and giving back to their communities helps our students learn the value of sharing their talents.

Grand Meadow Elementary is excited to participate in our annual Service Learning Day, May 4th.  Each year our students engage in a form of experiential learning activities. Students participate in activities that benefit our school and community. Learning goals coupled with reflection will enhance students’ understanding of their responsibilities and strengthen their ties to the community.
