Athletic Physicals-Concussion Testing-Fall Sports Meeting

Athletic Physicals – Students that will be going out for any athletic team must have a physical on record with the athletic director that is less than 3 years old.  Physicals will be administered free of charge from noon – 3:00 pm on July 24 for girls and on July 26 for boys.  These are the only dates that physicals will be free of charge and the cost is covered by the Athletic Advertising Account.

Baseline Concussion Testing – Mayo Clinic will be administering baseline concussion testing on August 8 at 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00.  Testing is done in a group setting and students must be present prior to the top of the hour or they will be required to wait until the next testing session begins.  Only 20 students can be tested at a time and in past years the 5:00 session has been completely full so students may want to consider attending an earlier session.  Concussion testing is not required but is very strongly recommended for all athletes.  This is the only date that concussion testing is offered.  The cost will be covered by the Athletic Advertising Account.

Fall Sports Meeting – Any student, along with his/her parents, that plans on going out for Cross Country, Volleyball or Football should plan on attending the fall sports meeting at 6:30 pm on August 8th  in the Legacy gym.  A group meeting will be held and then teams will break down into individual sports.  Coaches will be handing out important forms and information at this meeting.  The meeting should take approximately 1 hour.
