Veteran’s Day Breakfast & Program

Veterans’ Day Breakfast: The Grand Meadow Student Council will be providing a Veterans’ Day Breakfast and program on Monday, November 12th. We will start serving breakfast at 7:45 AM in the Legacy Gym. Please RSVP to Deb Johnson in the High School Office (754-5318) if you plan to attend. The program will start at 8:15 AM.

 

Spread the news that this invitation is for all veterans and their families to attend.There is no cost to those attending the breakfast.

 

After the breakfast, 7th-12th grade classes are invited to attend a Veterans’ Day program from approximately 8:15 AM-9:00 AM on November 12th.

 

The speaker this year will be Mr. Jamie Goebel, who is the MS/HS principal at Lyle Public School. He was a member of the Honor Guard for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

 

 

We feel very fortunate to have a member of the Honor Guard be the speaker this year for the breakfast and the program for the students and our local veterans.

 

 

Veterans and their families are welcome to stay for the program at 8:15 AM.

 

 

Mr. Reshetar, former superintendent at Grand Meadow School and retired Army Officer will be visiting K-4th grade classrooms in the afternoon to talk to the students about his military service on November 12th as well.
