Student Council Food Drive:
The Grand Meadow High School and Elementary Student Councils will be hosting a food drive. The food drive will be starting next Monday, October 31st and will end next Friday, November 4th. Each day will have a specified item that we would like students to bring in.
Monday-Canned Fruits and Vegetables
Tuesday-Mac and Cheese
Wednesday-Meat/Proteins
Thursday-Grains/Pasta/Cereal
Friday-Any of the previously specified items
The class with the highest average number of food items per student will win either a breakfast or lunch incentive of their choosing. The classes who bring the highest number of Mac and Cheese and protein will also win cookies from Motor Mart. This is a service project that the Student Council is participating in along with surrounding communities through the Channel 1 Food Bank. Without the support of Channel 1, the Grand Meadow Food Shelf would not be able to support our local families. Please consider donating to such a worthy cause.

Donkey Basketball:
We still have tickets available to purchase for the Donkey Basketball game that starts at 7pm on Sunday, October 30th. They are $10 in advance, otherwise we will have limited number of tickets for sale at the door for $12. If you would like to purchase ahead of time, please contact Lisa Glynn at the school or Jenni Cotten at or 507-269-8699. Tickets are also available to purchase at Glynn's Motor Mart.
Tail Gating--Donkey Basketball:
The Grand Meadow Boys Basketball Booster Club will be having a tailgate supper before the Donkey Basketball game on Sunday, October 30th. Supper will be served from 5-7 pm in the school cafeteria. For $5 you get a pork sandwich, beverage, and choice of chips or bar.
Football game on Saturday:
This is a home game. The link for the live stream is listed below. Saturday's football game vs. Houston will be broadcast on KFIL 103.1 FM. Fans can listen online at
KFILRADIO.COM and on the free RadioPup app. Game time will be 7:00 pm.
The game will also be on The Cube. Because of MSHSL rules, Thursday's volleyball match and Saturday's football game will be the final two fall sporting events on The Cube.
