Meet GM's New MS/HS Principal

I hope everyone is having a fun and safe summer. I am extremely excited to be the new 5-12 Principal at Grand Meadow Public Schools. I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself.

My name is Matt Rosaaen, I was born and raised in Spring Grove, MN on a farm. I attended St. Mary's University in Winona where I received my K-6 Elementary Education degree with a 5-8 Middle School Mathematics Licensure. I taught at Kasson-Mantorville Public Schools for eleven years, teaching First Grade and 8th Grade Mathematics. While teaching in Kasson, I earned my K-12 Master's in Education degree from Winona State University. The past two years I have been teaching 2nd grade, 6th grade along with classroom duties, I was the Teaching and Learning coach at Spring Grove Public Schools as well. I received my Educational Leadership/Principal Licensure in May of 2019 from Minnesota State University Mankato.

I am an outdoor enthusiast and an avid MN sports fan! I am so excited to be your principal and look forward to a successful year working along side you and your child.

Should you have any questions or concerns you would like to discuss, my email is mrosaaen@gm.k12.mn.us or I am in the office this summer Monday-Thursday.

Again, I cannot wait to start the year, and excited for a great year,

Matt Rosaaen
