GMLOS Wrestling Team Information
State Tournament
Grand Meadow Public school will be cancelling classes on Thursday, February 27th to allow the students, staff and faculty to attend the team wrestling matches.
Listed below are some important pieces of information regrading the upcoming state wrestling tournament on Thursday, February 27th
Pre-Sale Tickets:
- Pre-Sale tickets can be purchased in the secondary office from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tickets are currently on sale until Wednesday, February 26th at 10:00 AM
- Ticket Costs: Students $10 Adults $16 Per session
- There are two sessions, so if the team qualifies for the second session, a second ticket will need to be purchased
- Attending Session two requires that a person needs to purchase another ticket
Fan Bus:
- Fan buses are for students and the general public
- Students in grades 6 or lower need to have a chaperone. A chaperone can be a sibling in grades 7-12 or an adult
- If you wish to sign up for a fan bus, you must sign up by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25th
- Cost: $10 per person
- Loading Time: 6:00 AM – February 27th
- Departure Time: 6:15 AM – February 27th
- This schedule allows a little bit of extra time in case of traffic, lines to get in and time to find seats
- Fan buses will stay at the tournament until the GMLOS team is no longer wrestling.

Team Schedule:
The team will have a practice at noon on Wednesday, February 26th at GM. 1:30 PM pep fest in the Legacy Gym and then a hallway parade. Team leaves GM at 2:00 PM from the secondary entrance. The team will be escorted out of town by local law enforcement and emergency vehicles

Welcome Back program in the cafeteria on Sunday, March 1st at 12:00 PM (noon).
