May 4 Updates
School Lunch Hero Day:
With the crazy schedule we have been working under during the Distance Learning schedule,School Lunch Hero day came and went on May 1st.   Grand Meadow School has an amazing and dedicated group of ladies who prepare and serve amazing lunches during normal times.  However, during the Distance Learning model, they have gone above and beyond to provide very good meals for our students during this time.  I would like you to join me in saying thank you to these ladies as they work tirelessly each and every day to plan. prepare, and deliver meals to the students each and everyday at the community center.  If you would like to share a message or just a thank you, please e-mail those comments to the Food Service Director and she will share those thoughts with Diane, Kari, Crystal and Monica.  The Food Service Director is Nicole Koch and her e-mail is nkoch@gm..k12.mn.us

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week:
May 4th -May 8th Is Teacher Appreciation week.  Please find time to send your teacher(s) a quick message of appreciation.  They have been working so hard to research and find ways to offer lessons in non-traditional ways to help keep your child on track with their educational goals and objectives before and during the Distance Learning journey.  Grand Meadow is truly blessed with the teachers and staff we have working for the children.

Protect and Serve/GM Employee Parade:

Wow... Words can not express the emotions that so many of us felt as we drove around town and were able to see the children and their families last week.  In particular, the people who came out to honor our Emergency and law enforcement personnel and then stayed to see and be seen by the Grand Meadow school employees.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
