Maintain & Grow Informational Mailing

Upcoming Maintain & Grow Vote, November 7, 2023

The Grand Meadow Public School Board of Education has approved moving forward with a two-part bonding question to be voted upon by the constituents of the school district.

An informational letter and flyer were mailed to the registered voters of the school district. We are anticipating the mailer to be in your mailboxes this weekend or early next week.

There will be two community meetings held in the school library. The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 19th at 5:30 p.m. and the second meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 17th at 5:30 p.m. These meetings will cover the following topics:

  • History of the Domes
  • Debt Service of the district
  • Ballot Questions
    • Maintaining the Facility
    • Growing the District
  • Tax Impacts of projected bonding
  • Goals of the District
    • Working with GMEF
    • High standard of educational offerings
    • Community input
If there is a group or organization which would like to schedule a meeting to listen to the information and ask questions, reach out to Elizabeth Rice in the secondary office and she will work on getting the meeting scheduled with district administration and school board members.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions.

Educationally,

Superintendent Paul Besel
