The Grand Meadow Physical Education Staff has incorporated the past Presidential Fitness Testing into our own Tool to use.
The Grand Meadow Physical Fitness Tests
The tests will be done twice a year, once in the Fall and again in the Spring to track student progress.
The test will include the following test items.
1. curl-ups
2. shuttle run
3. sit and reach
4. l/4 or l/2 or l mile run (according to age group)
5. pull-ups/flexed-arm hang/ push-ups
Award Levels:
Superior: 85% or higher on all five test items.
Outstanding: 50% or higher on all five test items.
Superlark Award: Improvement on 4 test items from previous testing.
